When I was younger, my dad used to say all the time, "we are so blessed!". You know how it is when you are a teenager and your parents say things? I was that typical teenager who rolled her eyes at pretty much anything they said. Especially, when he said that favorite statement. Now, as I have aged and hopefully matured a little, I found myself saying the very same statement today. This weekend, my grandparents came to visit the family and meet Lily for the very first time. As I was uploading pictures of them with my kids today, I realized just how blessed I am. Not only am I completely blessed by God to have all four of my grandparents still with me at 28 years old, but my children have the chance to know them as well. I am married to my best friend in the entire world and have the most beautiful children I have ever seen. I live in a wonderful place to raise a family with my parents just 8 miles away from me. I pray that through the many blessings my family has been given, that we can continue to live a life pleasing to the Lord that speaks His love to those around us.
