One thing that really makes me realize how fast time is passing is the fact that Eli has now turned three years old. Why three? Well, I have played the violin since I was 5 years old. Growing up learning the Suzuki method, I was always the oldest one in my violin groups because most people begin playing when they are three. I always said that I would make sure that my children started to play the violin when they were three so that they wouldn't always feel so awkward like I did. Well, Eli is now three! For his birthday, Grammy and Poppy bought him his first violin. I can't believe that it is already time to start but I am so excited to watch him learn! Just pray for my patience as I am the violin teacher! AHH!!! This video is of him opening the violin for the first time. We ran out of tape, but we will post more videos as he learns to play more.
