I'm Ready....I think!

I have 21 students in my first grade class this year. Last night I met 20 of them. There are 12 boys and 9 girls. I have so many mixed emotions right now. Part of me is so excited I can hardly stand it. Another part of me is SO nervous! I haven't taught first grade since 2002-2003 when I did my internship in Kingsport. Then I at least I had a mentor teacher to tell me what to do. Now it is me. I am it! They are mine! I had my last planning day today before our first day of school. They will be sitting in these little desks at 7:30 Monday morning. Oh my goodness! There are still a few things that I am waiting on to be delivered, but I think my room is finally ready. I can't belive it is here!!!
