Overcoming Boogeymen

Ok. So, I guess I'm a guest blogger, but I thought I'd share this story. Just ignore the grammer and mabye spelling.

For some reason or another, Eli has become afraid of Zurg (from the movie Toy Story 2) and Goliath (one of his books on David and Goliath has a picture of Goliath yelling at the Isrealites which he doesn't like but always wants to look at). At times, he'll run through the house saying Goliath is after him. One night he thought Goliath was in his room so I had to check under the bed and in the closet. So in short, I guess Goliath and possibly Zurg is his boogeymen.

Anyhow, tonight after we prayed before bedtime Eli asked me to pray for his cousins (Riley and Ryan) which he asks everynow and then. But tonight Eli wanted me to pray for Goliath and Zurg and for "the Lord to be with them". Because I usually pray something like "Lord be with so and so.." Maybe this is his way to overcome boogeymen or most likely a stalling technique.
