Last week, we took Lily to her cranial appointment. I was not looking forward to this appointment at all. I could tell in the last 4 weeks that her head hadn't grown or changed at all. When we got there, the therapist evaluated her head and agreed with me that there hadn't been any growth. She thought that there had been a little change but not significant change. The other thing that she told me was that, Lily has just about outgrown her helmet. If you remember from the beginning, they don't give a time limit for how long Lily wears the helmet, instead they say that they wear the helmet until they outgrow it. She told me to bring her back in 4 weeks and we would do our final pictures. From there, she would make the reccommendation whether Lily was finished with treatment or be fitted for a second helmet. I asked her at that point in time whether she thought Lily needed a second helmet. She told me that she was "on the fence." To be honest, that really scares me. I would rather she say definitely that she YES needs a second helmet or NO she is done. If she says that she does need a second helmet, then we start all over again. Another $2,000!!! I have been praying that Lily goes through a huge growth spurt and her head grows to exactly where it needs to be. I honestly think that it is happening. After her bath tonight, I snapped some new pictures of her cute little helmet free head. See what you think. And pray with us, that when we go on the 17th and have her final pictures taken that her therapist will have all the confidence in the world that Lily is done with treatment and will not need a second helmet!

Sweet babe! Can't get over the amount of change in just these months! I think she looks amazing...(even if she does look like Aaron!) :)
Praying with you!
We are rooting for you Lily!
