Since I've been keeping my house in order for few weeks, I decided that I would use my time to clean out my walk in closet. I take that back. My mom has been asking me to clean out my closet for probably 3 months and I have refused. Then yesterday Aaron said that we would clean it out if we didn't have school. I found every excuse in the book to not do it. I even cleaned all of my baseboards on my hands and knees. Finally, Aaron just started on it without me. It was a whole day and whole family affair, but we got it done. I haven't been able to walk in it in two years, so it is a lot of fun having it all organized. I even vacuumed it today! :-) Here is a picture of all of our hard work. Plus an extra goody of one of the things that I found while cleaning it out.
My nametag from student teaching. Don't I look so young?
My cleaned out closet!!!
On a side note, the laptop computer is still not fixed, but we have a friend who is going to look at it again and see if he can save the hard drive! The side-side note is that we have an ancient Dell desktop computer that we got 8 years ago when we got married. Just after we moved into our house it died and that is why we bought the laptop. Well, in all of the cleaning of closets, we came across the old computer. We decided to get it out and take it to our friend to see if he could fix it up so that the kids could play games on it. We took it out today, turned it on, and it WORKED!!!! It is amazing. Here we have been without a computer all of this time and the stinkin' one on the floor in the closet worked! AMAZING!! Plus, just like with the laptop, when the desktop died, we thought we lost most of Eli and Lucy's baby pictures. So today, I have spent ALL day moving thousands of pictures to my backup flashdrive. I have the pictures again that I thought I lost. Even better...Mom gave us the connector to make the desktop wireless so I can hook into my wireless modem and set the computer up wherever....and here I sit typing on it. It has been a great day!

Here's to being a FLY baby...one baby step at a time!
