Well, yesterday was Eli's 5th birthday. I can't believe that he is 5 years old. I was SO emotional yesterday and found myself crying at the craziest times. I remember the day he was born actually thinking about him being 5 years old and how far away it was. And yet here it is. Eli had a wonderful day and woke up very early. Every 3rd word out of his mouth was about his birthday and being 5! He was really cute. We are officially celebrating his birthday at the beach on Wednesday with Great Grandpa and Grandma Wallace, Grammy and Poppy Wallace, and Uncle Scott and Aunt Sophie. He received some cards in the mail from Poppy and Mamaw Roach with some birthday money yesterday so he opened them, took Eli to Target to buy some gifts with his money, and then headed to CiCi's for pizza. Eli got 5 gifts (3 toys, one clothing item, and one back to school item). After dinner, we went back to Grammy and Poppy Wallace's House to visit Grammy after her surgery and have a cupcake.
Eli has blessed our life so much. We are so lucky to be his mom and Dad and can't imagine life without him. Happy Birthday Eli!
