Woah! Look at all of those bugs! I guess that shows a bunch of miles put on our car!
Hopefully he is having some fun!
Our campsite in Rapid City
We woke up this morning and realized that we have made it back to SUMMER! Each night in the mountains, it got down to the 40's. This morning when we woke up, we were all laying in the tent expressing how hot it was. When checking the temp is was a sweltering 75 degrees!!! I even texted my mom and she welcomed us back to summer. I guess we have been super spoiled with weather so far on this trip!
We started our day heading to Crazy Horse! We had a great time. I must admit that the last time I was here, it looked very similar!
After Crazy Horse, we went a little further down the road to Wind Cave National Park. I came here about 20 years ago but I didn't get the tour the cave. We were very excited to learn that Lucy's 4th grader pass would get us a tour of the cave for free! The only problem was that our tour wasn't for 3 hours! It was definitely worth the wait!
While we waited for the tour, we decided to head back to Custer to have some dinner and of course, ice cream!!!
Here was a funny sign that we saw on the street sign. Hilarious!
We headed back for the tour and it was SO awesome! PLUS, it is super hot here so the 54 degrees was really nice.
Wind Cave was SO much fun and we really enjoyed it!
