Exhausted

What a long weekend! Mom and I drove to Ohio this past weekend to attend my cousin's bridal shower. We left on Saturday morning and drove about 8 1/2 hours to my grandparent's house. It was a surprising smooth drive with rain just when we got to Stark County :-). All was smooth until we got ready to leave for Alli's graduation party. We all got dressed and out the door. It is like a 5 mile drive to Char's house from Grandma and Grandpa's house so when I got Eli in his seat I handed him his favorite Little Einsten book. The book that I gave him had stickers in the back of the book. Eli has read this book like a million times so I didn't think much of it. Then mom turned around and said, "Eli don't put those stickers in your mouth!" Well, before it even came out of her mouth, the sticker was stuck in his mouth and he couldn't get it out. Before I knew it Eli was throwing up all over himself! You have to understand that I literally packed only the clothes he would need and one extra pair since we were going for 2 days! I turned around and went back to my grandparents house. I couldn't even get the sticker out of his mouth. When I tried to get the sticker out, HE BIT ME as hard as he could. Needless to say, we finally got it out and got him changed and made it to the graduation party. The next day we went to the shower. The shower was also held at Char's house (the same house that the graduation party was at). There were almost 70 people at the shower. The day started out with Lucy crying everytime the ladies laughed at the video that we were watching of Beau answering questions about Jaci. Then I chased Eli all over the house, up and down the stairs for the entire shower. I was so tired but got a great workout! When I think about it I don't really even know why I went. We took some great pictures so be on the lookout for those when I ever get them posted to our photo site. Well, with all of the craziness it was still a lot of fun and I am looking forward to the wedding this July. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. Ours was definitely memorable!
