Catch Up time!

Wow! It sure has been a while. I think that it is funny that as busy as I am in a normal day to day routine that I have time to blog. But then give me 2 weeks off when I have tons of time to do it, I don't! Go figure. Anyway, to sum it up quickly, Christmas was a BLAST!!! My brother Scott and Sophie and my dad's parents (Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Wallace) came into town for Christmas. Now that we have the kids, we would like to be sure that they have Christmas morning at our house so everyone headed over to the house early Christmas morning. We told everyone to be there at 7 and were trying to think of ways that we could keep them occupied until everyone got there at 7. The kids surprised us and all slept in to almost 8. We had a great morning which began with Great Grandpa reading the Christmas Story from the book of Luke. Everyone was quiet and calm and really just took in the moment. I of course couldn't keep from getting quite emotional listening to such an amazing story realizing how incredibly lucky I was to be listening to my 83 year old grandfather read it to me and my three kids! The kids were SO much fun to watch open their presents!! After gifts, we headed to Mom and Dad's house for Christmas for the adults! Which followed with a fun Christmas Dinner with friends from church and our family. It was just so much fun to be together with everyone. These aren't in any particular order, they are just a bunch of shots taken over the week.
