Tennessee Christmas

The day after Christmas we headed to White Pine for the Roach Family Christmas. It was such a fun time. There were kids everywhere and we LOVED it. It is such joy to watch Eli, Lucy and Lily interact with their cousins especially considering how close in age they are to Ryan and Ryleigh! (all 5 of them are 4 and under). It is also fun to watch them with their other cousin Austin who is a little bit older than them all but is so sweet to them and will play and play with them! They played and played and played until they couldn't play anymore. We even got to play a little with Austin's guitar hero! So much fun!!! One day we decided to head out to Smoky Mountain National Park to enjoy the scenery and get a stamp for the kids' National Park passport. It was beautiful. We love the East Tennessee Mountains and love looking at them. One thing that didn't change was the fact that I am still NOT a big fan of Gatlinburg!! Although, fun to watch all of those crazy people. In all, we had a blast in Tennessee and truly cherished the time we had to spend with everyone. I think the thing we took away from our break is just how blessed we are to have such a wonderful family that loves and cares for us so much and just love being together.
