It is so hard to believe that my BABY is 4 years old. People always tell Aaron and I to enjoy our time with our kids because it goes so fast. I always sort of laughed that off because we had our kids so fast and it seemed like we were stuck in the same baby/toddler stage forever. But then, just a few weeks before her birthday, it hit me. We are completely out of the baby/toddler stage! My sweet little baby that we brought home and added to such chaos is 4 years old! Where has the time gone?!? Seriously, it hit me BIG time! Nonetheless, it is true. We have a sweet, hilarious, sensitive, smart, and overall PERFECT little four year old. I remember finding out that I was pregnant with Lily. I had a 21 month old and a 5 month old and I remember thinking that I couldn't imagine adding yet another one to our family. But here, 4 years later that seems so long ago, and now I can't imagine our lives WITHOUT her. My mom said it best when she said that our lives would be very boring without Lily in them. And that is the honest to goodness truth. She might be the smallest one, but her volume and presence are definitely the BIGGEST. She is destined for greatness and I can't wait to see the path God has for her life.
