Pierced Ears

Last year we took both girls to get their ears pierced but decided to let it be a 4 year old thing. Lucy was the one who got them pierced that day. So for the last year, all Lily has been talking about is getting her ears pierced when she turned 4.

Today, we took her to the mall and let her pick out her earrings. She picked the same exact, pink flowers, that Lucy had her pierced with. I was a little nervous because Lucy had both ears pierced at the same time and today when we went, there was only one girl there to pierce them.

We got her all ready to go. She pierced the first ear and Lily did great! She didn't even cry. Then we moved over and pierced the second one. No tears! We all clapped and cheered, but then the tears came. It was so sweet. I was so proud of my peanut. The tears didn't last long, though since a sticker and lollipop made her stop crying right away.

Yay, for pierced ears and being 4 years old!!!
