Friday...fantastic, wonderful, long awaited, Friday!
I decided that I was going to attempt to sleep without my muscle relaxer last night. So while I slept ok, I didn't sleep all that great! I had a hard time getting myself going this morning. Breakfast seems to continue to be my biggest challenge without Aaron here. I ate my last Larabar yesterday so I was really struggling this morning about breakfast. One of the fruits delivered from Absolute Organics this week were these cute little green mangoes. I haven't really seen them like this before, but I could tell they were ripe. So I grabbed a knife and a mango and headed to school.
Once we got to school and I got myself slightly settled, I cut myself the mango for breakfast. It was DELICIOUS and exactly what I needed!
For lunch, I packed half of a chicken breast (baking those ahead of time has been a life and time saver for sure) and leftover baked veggies.
I did have an afternoon snack which was some apple slices.
So flashback one week and we were right back and rushing around to get to dance tonight. The girls were very helpful and we all made it there in one piece. While waiting for them to finish dance, Eli and I decided to forego driving around and instead walked next door to the Fresh Market. We enjoyed walking through the aisles and looking at all of the fun stuff they have there! After dance, I grabbed a pizza on my way home for the kids. My lunch was so big today that I only ate about half of it, so I grabbed the leftovers from lunch and enjoyed them for dinner with a blackberry cucumber La Croix.
After the crazy week we have had, we all snuggled in on the couch together and watched a couple of episodes of Fuller House. It was so much fun to just hang out with the kids. We have a pretty full day tomorrow with lots of running around, so we all headed to bed. I caught up on a few of my shows that Aaron doesn't necessarily like to watch with me. One week ago, I totaled my car and tonight it is a small blip in time in the big beautiful picture of my life. I am so blessed in so many ways.
I can't believe that this 30 days is almost over. I only have 4 more days to go. I must be honest, I love the way I feel on this journey and I am looking forward to continuing it for another 30 days. It really is life changing and I am liking the changes that I see!
Chop, Chop
