It's about time!

I was talking with my best friend Natalie last night. She reminded me that it has been since July since I last blogged. I think it is so ironic that my last blog was all about our trip this summer and flying on SkyBus. I heard on the news this morning that SkyBus is officially out of business as of today. This really makes me sad because we had lots of plans for places that we wanted to fly this summer! Oh well.

So after we got back from our vacation this past summer, we moved into our new house, began new jobs (which we love), and found out...SURPRISE, we were having another baby! So here we are today. I sit here in my den typing away while Eli and Lucy watch Buzz Lightyear (which Eli quickly replies, he's fast like Jimmy Johnson) on Toy Story 2. Aaron is in the family room on the other computer with our newest family member, Lily Michelle.

When I went from having one child to having 2 under 16 months that it rocked my world. But now, I am here to tell you that that was nothing. Having three under 32 months (good grief Eli isn't even three yet!?!?) is complete craziness. But I have to admit that it is fantastic craziness. Granted, we've had some issues with Eli and Lucy not completely understanding how to be gentle with a newborn, but luckily Eli doesn't remember being the only child in our family, and Lucy has never known what it is to be by herself.

Lily is the sweetest most laid back baby. How could she not be, right? When you are the third one, you kinda don't have a choice. She looks differently than the other two, but I am sure that she will slowly begin to gain resemblence of the rest of them. She is adjusting to life with this crazy family really well and I look forward to raising all three of these beautiful children so close together. I must admit, I have been enjoying my time at home while being on maternity leave. I still don't think I could be a stay at home mom, but all of my friends who are, are my heros! My other heros are any mother who has three children! Whew, I didn't know how difficult it would be! Eli, Lucy, Lily and I have 3 weeks left together during the days together before I return to my job. Luckily, once I go back to school there is only 6 weeks until summer break. When I go back to school, my mom will have them during the days so it won't be as hard to leave them while I am working. I am so thankful to have my mom close by!

Well, it is good to be back to blogging. I am sure I will be doing more of it these days now that I have some more time on my hands. Plus, the kids are getting funnier and funnier and there will be lots of stories to share!
