It's missing parts!

This is Juli blogging, but it is actually a story from my dad. On Monday, my dad was taking the kids to school and Eli noticed that the moon (a crescent moon) was out and it was daytime! Poppy explained that the moon was getting ready to go to sleep but that we could still see some of the moon even though it was daytime already. Eli was quiet as he processed what Poppy had just told him. But then he spoke up and said, "but Poppy, it is missing some of its parts!" Dad just thought that was the cutest thing.
