Santa

So my last post was about how we have found ourselves in a new phase of life. One of the things that is evident of this new phase is Santa. Having 3 very small children has often been the biggest reason to not even attempt Santa. But at 5, 4, and 2 I thought that they might be able to handle it. I had hoped to get them all dressed up and in their Christmas outfits to go and visit Santa, but my plans don't always work out that way. We took advantage of the free Santa picture at Bass Pro Shop at the mall. They have a huge winter wonderland set up. We first tried on Saturday and realized that at 10:45 in the morning they were passing out passes to return at 3:00 that we probably should scrap the idea. Luckily, we live a few short miles from the mall and realized that we could come back during the week, which is exactly what we did. I got the kids and met Aaron at the mall after school on Wednesday. We waited for a few short minutes and we walked up and saw Santa. All three went willingly and no one cried. They all told Santa what they wanted and we moved on. See, we really are moving into a new phase!!
